‘You both bore me to tears’: Hannity laughs off Mika Brzezinski defending husband Joe Scarborough from Trump attacks

Fox News host Sean Hannity pushed back against MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski after she defended her husband from attacks leveled by President Trump.

“He’s once again tweeting conspiracy theories about Joe, falsely accusing him of murder, talking about a death of a young staffer in his office years ago, and calling him dangerous to walk the streets,” Brzezinski said Wednesday. “That’s sick, Donald, you are a sick person! You’re a sick person.”

Brzezinski’s shaming of Trump came after the president accused her husband, fellow anchor Joe Scarborough, of hiding the truth about the death of an intern in his office while he was a congressman representing Florida. Local media reported at the time that the intern suffered from a medical episode.

“When will they open a Cold Case on the Psycho Joe Scarborough matter in Florida,” Trump tweeted last week. “Did he get away with murder? Some people think so. Why did he leave Congress so quietly and quickly? Isn’t it obvious? What’s happening now? A total nut job!”

“Lol. Poor little Mika defending pathetic sellout liberal Joe who ‘does have his issues,'” Hannity said. “Let me decide if u are worth my time.”

Hannity was featured in a widely shared Comedy Central video that Brzezinski posted to her account highlighting how prominent members of conservative media and members of Trump’s administration downplayed the dangers of coronavirus during the pandemic’s early days.

Separately on Wednesday, Brzezinski said she was planning on reaching out to Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey to discuss why Trump has not been banned from Twitter for spreading misinformation about her husband and others.
