Alec Baldwin and Kurt Anderson to release satirical book by ‘Trump’

Alec Baldwin will reprise his role as President Trump in print form with the help of one of Trump’s media adversaries in a book later on this year.

Baldwin, who played President Trump on Saturday Night Live, and Kurt Anderson, the co-founder of Spy, a satire magazine, who currently hosts Studio 360, will release a satire book about President Trump’s first year in office.

Called “You Can’t Spell America Without Me: The Really Tremendous Inside Story of My Fantastic First Year as President,” the cover features Alec Baldwin in his SNL Trump costume and will be released on November 7, 2017.

The back cover of the book, obtained by Entertainment Weekly, features real quotes from Trump about Baldwin and Anderson.

“I think the Alec Baldwin situation is not good. I’m disappointed. I think the portrayal of me is ridiculous,” Trump told “Fox & Friends” on March 17, 2017.

“Kurt Anderson has always been a third-rate writer and an unsuccessful one at that,” Trump told the New York Post on August 13, 2009.

The back also contains a satirical excerpt from Trump, saying, “This entire book is by me, all the words and sentences and larger sections, the paragraphs, the chapters, all mine, not ‘as told to’ or ‘with’ some pathetic parasite ghost-writer. This Trump book, unlike my many previous excellent Trump books, is being created 100% by me. It is, if I can be completely honest, the best one.”
