Gov. Gavin Newsom says the state’s water shortage could become severe enough to require Californians to ration their personal use but not until the end of September.
Standing aside U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Michael Regan after touring recovery efforts in Big Basin Redwoods State Park, Newsom said a new order could come as soon as six weeks from now.
