SOUTH FARMINGDALE, N.Y. (AP) — Police on Long Island are investigating after a couple in their 70s was found dead from gunshot wounds in the bedroom of their home.
Police say they made the discovery Tuesday night after receiving a call for a well check at the Lambert Avenue residence in South Farmingdale.
The bodies of the 73-year-old man and 74-year-old woman were removed to the Nassau County Medical Examiner’s office.
They were identified as Ann and Barry Kaplan.
