Tis the season.

A man who police say shouted “Merry Christmas!” before fleeing a Virginia bank robbery has been arrested.

Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office deputies said 34-year-old Tori Kay Pollard of Spotsylvania was arrested Tuesday after a detective recognized the man from a previous case.

Police said Pollard used the holiday cheer after robbing a Virginia Commerce Bank branch in Spotsylvania. He is also a suspect in a Dec. 20 robbery of a SunTrust Bank branch in Hanover County.
