Grains trade mixed; Beef, pork prices rise

CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures were mixed Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery rose 4.25 cents to $7.5125 a bushel; December corn gained 8 cents to $6.32 a bushel; December oats added 18.25 cents to $3.4525 a bushel; while November soybeans slipped 1.25 cent to $14.12 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle gained 1.78 cent to $1.1725 a pound; August feeder cattle added 1.15 cent to $1.4885 a pound; while August lean hogs rose 2.7 cents to 91.7 cents a pound.
