‘They should go all the way LEFT’: Trump rails on Fox over segment with DNC communications director

President Donald Trump railed against Fox News over a segment with Democratic National Committee communications director Xochitl Hinojosa on Wednesday morning.

Hinojosa was on America’s Newsroom when she was asked about the upcoming Democratic presidential debate. The deadline to qualify for next month’s event is Wednesday and at this moment ten presidential candidates have already secured their spot, which is half the number of participants from the first two debates.

Trump attacked Sandra Smith, the host, because Hinojosa was “spewing out whatever she wanted with zero pushback.”

“Just watched @FoxNews heavily promoting the Democrats through their DNC Communications Director, spewing out whatever she wanted with zero pushback by anchor, @SandraSmithFox. Terrible considering that Fox couldn’t even land a debate, the Dems give them NOTHING! @CNN & @MSNBC….,” Trump tweeted before adding, “….are all in for the Open Border Socialists (or beyond). Fox hires “give Hillary the questions” @donnabrazile, Juan Williams and low ratings Shep Smith. HOPELESS & CLUELESS! They should go all the way LEFT and I will still find a way to Win – That’s what I do, Win. Too Bad!….”

The president’s attacks on Fox News personalities Donna Brazile, Juan Williams and Shep Smith are not new. Trump has frequently called each of them out on social media with Williams and Brazile having faced some heat from the president in recent days.

He went on to say that, “The New @FoxNews is letting million of GREAT people down! We have to start looking for a new News Outlet,” because “Fox News isn’t working for us anymore!”

The president’s criticism of Fox News has appeared to grow in recent months. Prior to Wednesday’s attacks, the president has tweeted negative things about Fox News personalities or their polls five different times this month.

UPDATE: Hinojosa tweeted at the president, “Thanks for watching. It’s pronounced So-Chi, you know, like the city in Russia,” following his criticism of her appearance on the network.
