Mel accused of ‘hating Jews’ again

Mad Mel is at it again.

Screenwriter Joe Eszterhas is accusing Mel Gibson of “hating Jews.”

According to Movie Talk on Yahoo, Joe and Mel had been collaborating for several months on a script for Warner Bros. about a Jewish warrior.

When Joe was let go from the project, he wrote a letter to Mel (obtained by the Wrap) accusing him of “anti-Semitism.”

Yahoo says the letter, which is nine pages long, paints a picture of the actor as unfocused and charged with anger, and suggests he has been physically abusive and even issued death threats against his former girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva.

Mel publicly apologized in 2006 for making anti-Semitic remarks to a police officer who was arresting him on suspicion of drunken driving.

But Mel is denying it this time. He has replied with his own letter saying Joe fabricated most of the facts and statements.

He finishes with “The decision not to proceed with you was based on the quality of your script, not on any other factor.”

Hard to move on

Scarlett Johansson is finally talking about her surprisingly secretive 2010 divorce from Ryan Reynolds.

The pair has been quiet about the relationship from the very beginning. But she now tells Vogue that the divorce was “horrible,” but calls it “comically amicable.”

“Of course it’s horrible. It was devastating. It really throws you. You think that your life is going to be one way, and then, for various reasons or whatever, it doesn’t work out,” she said.

She also admits that she isn’t quite over the split yet, even though she’s been linked to several men since, including Sean Penn.

“I don’t feel on the other side of it completely, but it gets better,” she says. “It’s still there. More than anything, it’s just that not having your buddy around all the time is weird. There’s no rule book. I think it’s just time.”

The 27-year-old beauty is currently dating New York City ad exec Nate Naylor, and Ryan has recently been linked to Blake Lively.

Finally moving on

Marc Anthony has finally filed for divorce from Jennifer Lopez.

The former couple announced they were ending their marriage in June after seven years, according to the Associated Press.

They have maintained a seemingly amicable business relationship since their split, appearing together on their reality TV series, “Q’Viva!”

In the divorce petition, Marc cites irreconcilable differences, but did not include a date of separation.

J.Lo has famously moved on with backup dancer Casper Smart, whom she recently surprised with a 25th birthday party in L.A. and custom Dodge Ram truck.
