Montgomery County police are looking for a woman they say illegally withdrew money from a bank account after the victim’s purse was left in an office building bathroom in Rockville.
A woman forgot her purse in the building on Piccard Drive on the morning of Feb. 3. Two transactions from the victim’s bank account were made before she warned her bank and credit card companies about the loss.
Officers are searching for a white, heavily built woman, 19 to 24 years old, about 5 feet 5 inches tall with shoulder-length dark hair.
Anyone with information on the incident can call investigators at 240-773-6084. Crime Solvers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest or indictment in the case.
