A rainbow appeared over Orlando, striking a stark contrast to the coming severe weather event that is about to hit Florida.
As Hurricane Irma hit Cuba and then turned toward the southern tip of Florida, photos of the rainbow were shared by users on Twitter, who indicated that it appeared over the city on Friday.

The outer bands of the storm are already lashing out at the southern part of the state, and as of 4 p.m. Saturday, tropical storm force winds were detected in the Florida Keys.
