Wyo. Tourism goes mobile

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — The Wyoming Office of Tourism recently launched a mobile version of its website.

The development comes after a redesign of the desktop version which was completed earlier this year.

The new look has big, bold imagery, high definition video and a new ROAM FREE section for vacationers looking for ideas on how to best plan their trip.

Now accessible from any web-enabled phone or smartphone, the mobile site connects consumers, wherever they may be, with visitor information on Wyoming. This also includes devices such as tablets and iPads.

Tourism office director Diane Shober says mobile devices have rapidly become a staple in everyday living around the world and so it’s important to have a mobile-friendly website.

To access the site simply type in www.wyomingtourism.org from any mobile device.
