Fox News’ Jeanine Pirro questioned whether hypnosis was involved in the allegations of sexual misconduct against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
“I have never seen anything like this in my career over three decades,” Pirro said Monday evening on Fox News. “I’ve never seen so many repressed memory cases in my life. Especially against one guy.”
“So the question is if there is something awry going on, was there hypnosis? Are they using confabulation? And I don’t want to get in the weeds here, but you know what? This is the kind of thing they have a right to true cross examination.”
Kavanaugh has been accused by two women of sexual misconduct. Christine Blasey Ford, the first woman, claims Kavanaugh forced himself onto her at a high school party in the 1980s.
The New Yorker also published a piece on Sunday in which Deborah Ramirez accused Kavanaugh of exposing himself to her at a college party in the 1980s at Yale University when they were students.
Kavanaugh has rejected both allegations and he and Ford are scheduled to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday.
