Trump invites Obama’s half-brother to debate

Donald Trump has invited President Obama’s half-brother to join him at the third presidential debate Wednesday night, where he and Hillary Clinton will face off for the last time before the election in 20 days.

Malik Obama, who was born in Kenya to the same father as Obama and later became an American citizen, has been a vocal critic of Clinton, whom he believes should have been indicted over her private email practices and mishandling of classified information.

“She should have known better as the custodian of classified information,” Obama told the New York Post in July, upon announcing that he had switched to the “party of Lincoln” and would be voting for Trump in November.

“I look very much forward to meeting and being with Malik,” Trump said in a statement on Wednesday. “He gets it far better than his brother.”

Trump’s second debate-night guest is Patricia Smith, the mother of Benghazi victim Sean Smith, who spoke at the Republican National Convention in July and has described Clinton as being guilty of “murdering” her son.

Trump’s Democratic opponent will arrive at the debate with billionaires Mark Cuban and Meg Whitman.

Cuban joined Clinton at the first presidential debate in September, while Whitman, a Republican and the chief executive of Hewlett-Packard, has been actively campaigning for Clinton and raising money for the former secretary of state’s campaign.
