Miranda Lambert fans are defending the country music star after a video of her performing went viral this week.
Several social media users slammed Lambert’s body shape and size, calling her “Miranda HAMbert,” “Miranda Lamburger,” and “Mealranda Lambert.”
The comments, coming mostly from men, also included suggestions to “mix in a salad” and “go to the gymnasium.” Some even mocked her 2015 divorce from fellow country star Blake Shelton, saying her ex-husband “dodged a bullet.”

But Lambert’s supporters quickly came to her defense.
“Weight and looks don’t define you,” a fan commented. “Your heart and how you treat people does.”
“I like how it’s only men commenting about her weight,” another fan wrote. “She looks amazing.”
Still, others suggested that body types and the impact of age, which is a normal “part of life,” be considered.
“I have the same body type,” a woman wrote. “She makes me feel safe.”
Lambert remarried in 2019, tying the knot with former New York Police Department officer Brendan McLoughlin.
“I just don’t give two s***s about people’s opinion of me, my marriage, my music, or anything else,” Lambert told People in June. “I just care that I’m being me.”
Selena Gomez, 30, also took to TikTok sharing a message of body positivity Wednesday.
The former Disney star said, “Real stomachs is coming the f*** back, OK?”
