Baltimore police are looking for a suspect in the death of a 14-year-old boy who was gunned down last month as he was riding his bicycle.
Although police have arrested four suspects in the crime, investigators are still looking for one more: Michael Hitchen, 34.
Hitchen is known to frequent numerous areas in West and South Baltimore, police said. Detectives believe friends are aiding him in eluding authorities.
On Nov. 18 at 4:27 p.m., Steven Graham was riding a bicycle in front of a fire station in the 400 block of Maude Avenue when a vehicle stopped next to the teen and opened fire — striking Graham in the lungs and spinal cord.
Police believe the shooting was prompted by a robbery hours earlier in the 3500 block of Helmstetter Avenue. A group of people armed with guns — including three of the robbery victims — went driving after the robbers, police said.
“That’s one of those mother—- right now,” one of the robbery victims said, before shooting Graham.
Lawrence Lewis, 46, Joseph Richardson, 46, Vigil Hitchen, 43, and Patricia Trusty, 53, all have been charged with first-degree murder in Graham’s death.
Hitchen should be considered armed and dangerous, officers said.
