Sen. Elizabeth Warren tweeted Wednesday that Donald Trump needs to stop claiming the electoral system is rigged against him, and said he needs to put on his “big-boy pants” and admit he’s losing “fair and square.”
Anyone with children knows that whining about imaginary cheating is the last refuge of the sore loser, @realDonaldTrump.

It’s not rigged, @realDonaldTrump. You’re losing fair & square. Put on your big-boy pants because this is what accountability looks like.

Warren said Trump shouldn’t “expect to win” after running a presidential campaign she described as hateful, and called him a “creepy” bully.
Give me a break, @realDonaldTrump. You’re not losing because it’s rigged. You’re losing because we see through your creepy bullying.

You can’t run a campaign based on hating women, African Americans, Muslims & immigrants & expect to win, @realDonaldTrump.

Warren published an opinion piece in the Washington Post late Tuesday asserting Trump’s claims of a rigged system are nothing new, and that he is simply the latest development in a long line of Republican politicians bent on “poisoning” the American political system. She tweeted a link to the article to her Twitter followers Wednesday.
Read my @washingtonpost op-ed about how @realDonaldTrump didn’t invent the “rigged election” myth. The @GOP did: https://t.co/ay6gF6YKqZ

“They hold these views even though there is literally no evidence — none, zero, zip — that widespread voter fraud is a factor in modern American elections,” wrote Warren. “Trump’s words and deeds are merely the latest — and loudest — examples in a long line of Republican tactics that are poisoning our political system.”

Republicans have pushed for more stringent voter ID laws in many states in an agenda progressive activists have argued disenfranchises minority voters likely to vote for Democrats. Warren questioned the motivations of the GOP in one of her tweets.
It’s fascinating, @realDonaldTrump: “voter fraud” only seems to plague places where lots of people might vote for @TheDemocrats.

Sen. Warren argued that many of Trump’s “antics” are similar to House Republican “witch hunts.”
And @realDonaldTrump’s antics – like attacking judges & calling for his opponent’s imprisonment – echo the @HouseGOP’s witch hunts.
