Anti-abortion rights activist and former Planned Parenthood clinic director Abby Johnson argued that abortion should be decided on a state-by-state basis, a departure from the view held by many people associated with Planned Parenthood, the majority of whom have expressed outrage at Monday’s leaked draft opinion authored by Justice Samuel Alito apparently overturning the Roe v. Wade precedent in Dobbs v. Women’s Health Organization.
