Huckabee hits ‘Hellery’ Clinton over Brexit

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee referred to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as “Hellery” in a statement on the Great Britain’s decision to leave the European Union.

In a statement, the former presidential candidate argued that the news from Britain is a “foreshadowing” of what will take place in November in America, referring to a potential victory by Donald Trump over Clinton. He then took aim at Clinton, saying that those who “lead political and financial institutions” will push for “Hellery” to become president.

“Why does this matter to YOU in the USA? Because it was a foreshadowing of what will likely happen in November. Those who lead the political and financial institutions will push strongly that we ‘go along’ our path and elect ‘Hellary’ Clinton,” Huckabee wrote. “There will be a large number (I believe a majority) who in spite of the uncertainty of specific policies, will vote to kick the political and financial institutions in their wide and arrogant rear-ends.”

The former governor concluded by writing that while the vote was a “big shock” to those in the United Kingdom, it’s “a big lesson and something to watch for in the United States.”

Huckabee wrote the statement from Liverpool, having watched the returns come in there.

Overall the “Leave” vote won with nearly 52 percent support. Earlier Friday, British Prime Minister David Cameron announced that he would be resigning his post as the U.K. looks to make their transition out of the EU.
