Gazette newspaper acquired by Anschutz

DENVER (AP) — A Denver-based media company owned by billionaire Phil Anschutz has purchased The (Colorado Springs) Gazette.

Colorado’s second-largest newspaper announced Friday that Anschutz’s Clarity Media Group purchased The Gazette from Freedom Communications Inc.
