A Woodbridge woman was killed in a weekend crash in Silver Spring.
Montgomery County police said 29-year-old Marisol Gutierrez died when the Hyundai Elantra she was a passenger in collided with a BMW 325i at the intersection of Tech Road and Route 29 early Sunday morning.
The BMW had a flashing red light at the intersection; the Hyundai had a flashing yellow light, police said. Investigators are still looking into the circumstances of the crash, police said.
The Hyundai driver, 26-year-old Ryan Segretto, of Bristow, suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The BMW driver, 49-year-old Dorene Ennels, of Baltimore, was also treated for injuried that were not life-threatening.
