The Gaithersburg man suspected of killing his traveling companion in Aruba was ordered released from police custody by a judge Friday.
The judge said Gary Giordano, detained since August in connection with the disappearance of Robyn Gardner, 35, of Frederick, Md., must be freed Tuesday without any conditions. Prosecutors have until then to appeal the decision.
