WHAT: When asked by reporters, he said he couldn’t think of anything in the Constitution that would prevent a president from targeting U.S. citizens for extrajudicial assassinations by drone within the United States.

WHY IT’S DIM: Someone please show Carney the Fifth Amendment to the Constitution: “No person shall be … deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law.”
