Gunmen open fire with AK-47s in southern France

Three masked gunmen fired automatic rifles and AK-47s in southern France Monday and injured one person badly, according to reports.

The shooters opened fire on a group of people in a common cultural space known as “La Busserine” in Marseille, France, according to Express.

The gunmen arrived at the scene in three vehicles at 5:00 p.m. local time, and police traded shots with them.

It was unclear from initial reports if there were other injuries or deaths, or if any arrests have been made.
