Police are on the lookout for a man who shot and killed a Maryland State trooper after the officer escorted the disorderly customer from an Applebee’s, Prince George’s County police.
Trooper Wesely W. Brown, 24, was working a second job at the Forestville restaurant around 12:40 a.m. Friday. Brown was wearing a jacket that identified him as a police officer, authorities said. He had removed the man from the restaurant and was talking on the telephone when he was shot without warning, police said.
Police are looking for a black male, about 5-foot-7, 135 pounds with short hair, a slight beard and dark complexion. He was wearing a light blue jacket.
