2 Va. men indicted after bomb found in home

Two Virginia men have been indicted after an explosive device crafted to injure people was found in their home.

A grand jury indicted Cody V. Compton, 20, and Jonathon K. Clark, 21, on a charge of possession of an explosive device, the Free Lance-Star in Fredericksburg reports.

The Stafford County Fire Marshal’s Office says the device “was intended to cause harm to persons based on its construction,” the newspaper reported. “It was not a device intended to cause structural damage.”

The device was found while the sheriff’s office was executing a search warrant at the pair’s garage on an unrelated matter.
