A plea agreement hearing has been scheduled for Kevin Ricks, a Manassas teacher facing child pornography charges, according to court records.
Records show a hearing is scheduled for Thursday morning in federal court in Alexandria. Ricks was charged in July with possessing and transporting child pornography.
Ricks, who taught English at Osbourn High School, was arrested by Manassas police last February and was accused of having sex with a 16-year-old boy, a former student. Federal authorities searched Ricks’ laptop computer after his arrest on the local charges and found images of child pornography, according to court documents.
He pleaded guilty to the indecent liberties charge last year in Prince William County Circuit Court and was sentenced to a year in .
