The View host Sunny Hostin took aim at the Republican Party on Monday, claiming it is the party of “white supremacy” and “fascism” and that it’s no longer the party that once stood against communism.
Hostin told her co-hosts that former President Donald Trump “is the party now.”

“That is the party of white supremacy. It’s a party of fascism,” she continued. “It’s a party of all the things that are counter to our democracy.”
She then focused on her co-host, Republican strategist Ana Navarro, saying that “one of my issues has always been — I don’t understand how a Latina woman, who even left from Nicaragua,” could be a part of the GOP.
Navarro explained that the party she remembers is the one that stood against communism. However, Hostin dismissed this, claiming the party has since changed.
“If you remain in the Republican Party … are you complicit?” Hostin asked, calling it “the Trumplican party.”
In response, fellow host Sara Haines pointed out that some polls show Republican support for the former president running in 2024 is decreasing.
Host Alyssa Farah Griffin, a Republican, further called the Trump wing of her party a “populist, nationalist, right-wing party” that she does not identify with at all.
Griffin even said it “might be” time for a third party.

Haines chimed in, saying, “We need two robust parties.”
“Thank you Sunny Hostin for continuously proving how out of touch and ignorant the Democrat Party is with minority voters,” Republican National Committee spokeswoman Danielle Alvarez told the Washington Examiner.
