Hillary Clinton live-tweets Trump convention speech

Hillary Clinton sent a series of tweets rebutting Donald Trump’s speech to the Republican convention Thursday, attacking what she characterized as falsehoods in his acceptance remarks.

Clinton cited a review by the Economist that had ranked a potential Trump presidency as the third greatest threat facing the global economy just as the Republican nominee launched into the part of his address that discussed the economy.

As Trump ticked through Clinton’s failures from her tenure as secretary of state, Clinton posted a picture of herself sitting in the Situation Room on the night Osama bin Laden was killed by U.S. forces.

The presumptive Democratic nominee also took Trump to task for his tax policy proposals.

Clinton’s campaign obtained a leaked copy of Trump’s speech earlier Thursday and prepared a fact check of his remarks in advance of his speech at the convention in Cleveland.

Her team had prepared graphics to post to social media at certain points in Trump’s speech.

As his address wore on, Clinton tweeted to Trump, “You are not our voice.”
