White House press secretary Sean Spicer has railed against Dippin’ Dots on Twitter for several years.
Those tweets were rediscovered over the weekend and retweeted by Twitter users.

On Monday, Dippin’ Dots wrote an open letter to Spicer, saying it would like to be “friends rather than foes.”
The brand touted how the company and has grown and created jobs in the past three years.
“We can even afford to treat the White House and press corps to an ice cream social. What do you say?” the letter read.
Spicer responded later in the day, suggesting they do “something great for those who have served [our] nation & 1st responders.”
