Trump’s lead reportedly narrows in Georgia

The president’s lead in Georgia reportedly narrowed significantly after Chatham County released its absentee ballot results.

The county reported about 17,000 more ballots Thursday, about two-thirds of which went to former Vice President Joe Biden, according to Atlanta’s WXIA. Forsyth County has also updated its numbers, with 1,460 votes for Biden and 1,311 for President Trump.

Trump is leading the state by about 3,500 votes, according to WJCL.

Trump has expressed his frustration with states that originally showed him in the lead then narrowed as more votes were counted. He said bad actors are trying to steal the election from him.

The Trump campaign held a press conference in the state on Thursday. Donald Trump Jr. and Rep. Doug Collins were both in attendance.

Trump Jr. tweeted earlier in the day, “The amount of FRAUD being reported in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Nevada, Georgia and Wisconsin is unreal. Please report personal experiences. Please have all facts and evidence.”
