Trump attacks Fox News over latest poll

President Trump called out Fox News on social media for their latest polls that show he would lose to 2020 front-runner Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders Friday morning.

“.@FoxNews is at it again. So different from what they used to be during the 2016 Primaries, & before – Proud Warriors! Now new Fox Polls, which have always been terrible to me (they had me losing BIG to Crooked Hillary), have me down to Sleepy Joe. Even considering…..” Trump tweeted.

He followed that up,”….the fact that I have gone through a three year vicious Witch Hunt, perpetrated by the Lamestream Media in Collusion with Crooked and the Democrat Party, there can be NO WAY, with the greatest Economy in U.S. history, that I can be losing to the Sleepy One. KEEP AMERICA GREAT!”

According to Fox News’s poll that was released on Thursday, Biden has a ten point lead over the president, 49% to 39% respectively. The poll also shows that Trump would lose by a slightly smaller margin to Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, 46% to 40%.

The poll also surveyed people on who they would vote for in a hypothetical race between Trump and Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren and Trump against California Sen.Kamala Harris. In both cases the president came out on top by 1%.

With a margin of error of +/- 3%, Biden is the only candidate who is leading outside the margin.

This is not the first time this month the president has attacked his favorite network. On July 7, the president said watching the weekend anchors “is worse than watching low ratings Fake News CNN.”

Update: Fox News anchor Julie Banderas responded on Twitter to the president’s criticism, explaining, “That is incorrect. FOX News Opinion Polls are the public’s opinion not of @foxnews Interviews are conducted among a random national sample of 1,004 registered voters. 217 Landline and 787 cellphone numbers were randomly selected for inclusion in the survey.”
