After being married for 11 years, Peter Facinelli and Jennie Garth have decided to call it quits.
The “Twilight” actor and the “Beverly Hills, 90210” star have released a statement jointly through their reps to confirm the news.
“While we have decided to end our marriage, we both share the same deep love and devotion to our children. We remain dedicated to raising our beautiful daughters together. We ask for privacy and respect during this time,” the statement reads.
According to People magazine, the couple met on the set of “An Unfinished Affair” in 1996 and married in 2001. They have three daughters.
Peter, who plays Coop on Showtime’s “Nurse Jackie,” didn’t attend “The Hunger Games” premiere in L.A. Monday night solo, however — he showed up with one of his daughters on his arm.
This was the first marriage for Peter and the second for Jennie.
Kim fires back at Jon for calling her an idiot in Elle UK
Kim Kardashian got wind of Jon Hamm’s comment about her and fellow celebutante Paris Hilton, and she’s none-to-happy about it.
In an interview with Elle UK, Jon said, “Whether it’s Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian or whoever, stupidity is certainly celebrated. Being a f—— idiot is a valuable commodity in this culture because you’re rewarded significantly.”
Kim responded on Twitter (of course), saying, “Calling someone who runs their own businesses, is a part of a successful TV show, produces, writes, designs, and creates, ‘stupid,’ is in my opinion careless.”
As Us Weekly points out, Jon isn’t the first celeb to use the Kardashians as examples of “idiot culture.” Daniel Craig and Jonah Hill both beat Jon to the punch.
Russell channels Chris Brown by snatching iPhone
Chris Brown isn’t the only guy to face criminal charges after angrily snatching a cellphone.
TMZ says Russell Brand has been named in a police report for grabbing a paparazzo’s iPhone and throwing it though a window, shattering the glass.
The photog is citing “criminal damages” in the report and told police Russell wrested the phone from his hands, chucked it at a building and broke a window.
Police tell TMZ that the incident is under investigation and they would like to speak to the former Mr. Katy Perry immediately.
