Bodies of 3 women found in Fort Worth home

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — Three women whose throats were cut have been found dead in a Fort Worth home.

Fort Worth police Sgt. Raymond Bush says officers around 8 a.m. CDT Tuesday found the bodies in the single-story home. He declined to comment further but relatives say the women were members of the same family.

They identified the victims as 48-year-old Cynthia Serrano; her daughter, 21-year-old April Serrano; and her sister, 35-year-old Cathy de Leon.

It’s believed the women were attacked at some point after 6:30 Tuesday morning.

Family members say police were notified by a 911 call made by Cynthia Serrano’s husband.

Police did not comment on any suspects they may be seeking.

It was not clear what may have prompted the attack and further details weren’t immediately released by authorities.
