While appearing on Fox News, President Trump bashed the network’s coverage of the election, ripping its broadcast of speeches from former President Barack Obama in the closing days of the campaign.
“Actually, Fox puts him on more than anybody else, which is sort of shocking to me because Fox has changed a lot,” Trump told Fox & Friends on Tuesday. “Somebody said, ‘What’s the biggest difference between this and four years ago?’ I say, ‘Fox.’ It’s much different.”
Brian Kilmeade pushed back on the president’s assertion, arguing that the network was trying to present both sides of the argument to viewers, while Steve Doocy cited the network’s former slogan, “We report, you decide.”
.@realDonaldTrump complains on @foxandfriends about the network covering @JoeBiden‘s campaign:
“In the old days, they wouldn’t put Sleepy Joe Biden on every time he opened his mouth. They had other networks for that, frankly.” pic.twitter.com/9Auvh45XnS

“In the old days, they wouldn’t put, you know, they wouldn’t put Sleepy Joe Biden on every time he opened his mouth,” Trump told the hosts. “They had other networks for that, frankly, and it was run a much different operation. I’m just telling you it’s much different.”
The president then praised prominent hosts Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, and Tucker Carlson.
The president has expressed dissatisfaction about Fox’s coverage of the election and his presidency, criticizing news anchor Bret Baier’s town hall with Bernie Sanders last year.
So weird to watch Crazy Bernie on @FoxNews. Not surprisingly, @BretBaier and the “audience” was so smiley and nice. Very strange, and now we have @donnabrazile?

He also told reporters last month that the network was “disappointing” and that Fox News would be different if Roger Ailes was still running the network.
Speaking with Hannity in October, Trump also criticized the network’s chief White House correspondent, John Roberts, saying White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany was “abused” by the reporter.
“When I saw John Roberts today going crazy — Kayleigh is just an incredible person. She was abused by John Roberts,” Trump said. “It’s a terrible thing. Fox is a much different place than it used to be, Sean.”
