The Maryland Beer & Foodfest at Ripken Stadium will debut this weekend, offering visitors hundreds of beers and wines to sample, along with an array of foods and live entertainment.
At the Battle of the Brews, celebrity tasters will choose their favorites from regional and international brews. For a $5 donation to Habitat for Humanity, guests can taste gourmet food and beverage pairings from the area?s premier chefs. Live bands appearing include local groups 21 the Difference, The MP4 and Around the Block.
Ripkin Stadium is located at 873 Long Drive in Aberdeen. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $15 and includes your choice of beer and wine samples. For more information, visit mdbeerfoodfest.com.
