The top two contenders to take over the police department in Akron, Ohio, are a Prince George’s County police officer and a D.C.-based FBI agent, according the Beacon Journal.
The Ohio publication reported that a panel selecting the city’s next police chief has narrowed its choices to David Morris, a major in the Prince George’s County police department, and James Nice, a FBI agent in D.C.
The city’s mayor, Don Plusquellic, ultimately decides who to hire and a decision is anticipated by April, the paper reported.
