Several boats at a pro-Trump parade in Texas capsized Saturday, police said.
At least four boats participating in the parade on Lake Travis, which is about 30 minutes from Austin, sank. There were no deaths or injuries due to the accidents, according to Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services.

The Travis County Sheriff’s Office said it responded to multiple emergency calls regarding boats “in distress.” The specific number of boats that sank has not been announced.

The first distress call came just after 12 p.m. local time while experiencing “very rough” conditions, according to ABC News, which cited audio recordings of emergency dispatchers.
Boat rallies for President Trump’s reelection bid have been taking place across the country throughout the summer, with the largest in Florida, Georgia, New York, California, and Texas.
Pro-Trump supporters tried Saturday to shatter the world record on the largest boat parade — set at 1,080 boats in Malaysia in 2014 — in Navarre, Florida, but an official count has not been tallied.
