Shocking security footage shows the moment a man corners a woman in an elevator and strikes her repeatedly before dragging her by her feet across the ground.
The suspect, wearing a hoodie and track pants, approached the 36-year-old woman in the elevator on Nov. 1 around 10:25 p.m., punching her in the face multiple times and “causing swelling and pain,” according to the NYPD. The incident occurred at 125 St & Lexington Ave subway station in Manhattan.

The suspect is seen dragging the woman out of the elevator by her feet in the security footage before reportedly taking $50 and fleeing the scene, according to police.

An investigation is underway, and no arrests have been made, police said. Neither the suspect nor the victim has been identified by authorities.
