WATCH: Joe and Jill Biden wish The View’s Joy Behar a happy 80th birthday


President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden wished a special happy birthday to The View host Joy Behar on Wednesday.

“From the whole Biden family, happy birthday, Joy,” the president said, fawning over the 80-year-old comedian in a video tribute.

“You speak your mind. You speak from the heart. You stand up for what you believe, and you do it with warmth, humor, and authenticity,” the president said.

“No one is better named than you. You brought joy to so many of your friends and admirers with your trademark humor and that smile that lights up the room,” the first lady added.

“I just want to say, ‘Gracias, Mr. Presidente,’” the host said after the tribute, joking, “I’m assuming I’ll be invited to the Christmas party this year.”

The president is nearly one month younger than Behar. He will turn 80 years old in November.

The host recently told People that she has no plans to retire from The View.

“I just signed a contract, so I’ll be here for a while,” Behar said. “I have no plans to retire.”
