CNN’s Wolf Blitzer must have been caught up in the excitement of 2016 primary battles in a dozen states Tuesday evening, because for a brief moment during a live broadcast he forgot the name of his longtime colleague Dana Bash.
“Let’s go to [CNN’s Jake Tapper] and, uh, and uh,” Wolf said.
“Dana,” Bash said after a brief pause.
Tapper added confirmation, “Dana Bash.”
Bash continued, laughing, “It’s too early to forget names.”
Tapper added in a remark directed at Blitzer, “You’ve only known her 20 years.”
