A hearing and work session on the proposed Howard County school budgets for fiscal 2008 has been rescheduled from May 10 to May 14.
Residents can testify at the hearing on the operating budget, which covers ongoing expenses such as salaries and health care and the capital budget, which pays for construction projects. In addition, the Capital Improvement Program for fiscal years 2009 to 2013 will be available.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at the Department of Education, 10910 Route 108, Ellicott City.
