Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine spoke Spanish and played the harmonica on a Spanish language show Monday morning.
The visit by Kaine, who is fluent in Spanish after spending time as a missionary in Honduras, was the first major White House candidate on a Spanish-language only show. Kaine’s running mate, Hillary Clinton, maintains healthy leads among Hispanic voters compared to Donald Trump.

His visit came on the same day as the first presidential debate, where Clinton will face Donald Trump in New York.

Sen. Kaine told Spanish speaking voters the importance of the Latino vote in this election during an appearance in Georgia on Sunday.
