The Metropolitan Police Department responded to an armed robbery outside FBI headquarters in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday night.
Police responded to 10th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue in Northwest Washington around 6:45 p.m. after receiving reports of a robbery by a suspect with a gun, the MPD confirmed with the Washington Examiner. The victim was not injured in the incident, but their possessions were taken.
It’s not immediately clear whether police have identified a suspect or if any arrest has been made. The incident is under “active investigation” as officials work to determine a motive.
