Trevor Noah from the “Daily Show” said the revelation that Sen. Al Franken, D-Minn., groped and forcefully kissed a radio host without her consent is another demonstration that men are contributing to a culture that disrespects women.
“The story is another example of how at all levels, at all levels, we men have been complicit in perpetuating the culture that devalues women,” Noah said.
“You forget, it’s not just Al Franken in the picture,” he added. “It’s the guy who’s taking the picture, his Billy Bush. Who’s that guy?”

Noah was referencing the “Access Hollywood” tape with Bush that was released during the 2016 campaign, featuring President Trump years ago making lewd comments about women.
Leeann Tweeden, a radio host and former sports commentator, came out on Thursday and said Franken forcefully kissed her when the two were practicing a skit as part of a USO tour in the Middle East in 2006. She also said Franken groped her while she slept on the flight from Afghanistan after the tour ended. A photo was released that shows the senator, then a comedian, touching Tweeden’s breasts while she was sleeping.
Franken apologized for his behavior and said the photo was intended to be a joke, but added that he now realizes it was not funny. He also said he would comply with an investigation into allegations from the Senate Ethics Committee.
