Sports journalist Jason Whitlock said the “mainstreaming of Marxism” is far more concerning than President Trump’s “unorthodox” demeanor.
“My crime is thinking the mainstreaming of Marxism is more dangerous to America, Americans (and black people) than a rude, unorthodox president,” Whitlock tweeted Saturday. “It bothers many of you that Trump doesn’t bother me. Trump is an ant on an elephant’s @$$ compared to Marxism.”
His tweet came in response to a Twitter user saying, “Is ‘America first’ tearing down democracy to appease your king’s ego? he lost. Its over. Hes Trump first. He couldnt give a F about the country.”

Whitlock has previously made favorable comments about the president and sat down with Trump earlier this year in an interview where he slammed antifa as the “modern-day KKK.”
“They are a terrorist, domestic organization. They’re out doing things, they’re saying are for the benefit of black people, that are not benefiting black people,” Whitlock told Trump.
“Can we get the Democrats to denounce antifa? Can we get lawmakers to really go after this group? They are tearing our country apart,” the OutKick columnist added.
Just last weekend, Whitlock also slammed the attacks on Trump supporters in the nation’s capital after the “Million MAGA March” as “sickening.”
“The events from last night are sickening. The facade of fighting racism with racism/fascism must end. These are domestic terror organizations,” Whitlock tweeted.
