Former economic advisor to President Trump Gary Cohn said Tuesday that he feels more free, “rested,” and “happier” since resigning from his post at the White House last month.
“I’m taking my time right now and seeing what’s out there in the world,” Cohn told CNBC in his first interview since leaving his post at the White House. “I feel freer, I feel rested, I feel happier.”
Cohn also claimed that he was a globalist in the sense that he believes “we live in an interconnected world.”
“In your definition, I’m a globalist,” the former director of the National Economic Council said. “I believe we live in an interconnected world. We live in an economically interconnected world. We live in a world of allies where we have allied nations.”
