Hillary Clinton told a Westminster, Calif., crowd that the phrase âTrump Uâ sounds very similar to âfâ- youâ Friday.
âThat doesnât sound appropriate, does it,â Clinton said, laughing to herself after shouting the words âTrump Uâ during her speech. âI am going to use that more. Because if he gets anywhere near the White House, you know what he is going to do. He is going to Trump U.â
Clinton was speaking about the Trump University lawsuit, and the presumptive GOP nomineeâs claim that the judge presiding over the case is biased because of his Mexican heritage. Judge Gonzalo Curiel was born in the United States.
âHe has gone so far as to insult and attack a distinguished federal judge, a man who was appointed on his merits, a man born in Indiana, which last time I checked was part of America,â Clinton said.
She later added, âI am not one of these people who spend all his time downgrading America ⌠I believe we already are great, but we can be greater!â
