Audience members at the “Colbert Report” were sent home on Wednesday night upon news that the live taping had been cancelled. While rumors are circulating and those at Comedy Central won’t confirm any information about what is going on, the Wall Street Journal’s Speakeasy blog is reporting that taping has been suspended for the time being due to an emergency with Stephen Colbert’s family.
