WASHINGTON (AP) — A former U.S. visa chief in Vietnam has pleaded guilty to bribery and other charges for accepting more than $3 million in bribes in exchange for visas for entry into the U.S.
Michael T. Sestak pleaded guilty to the charges on Tuesday and faces roughly 19 ½ years to 24 ½ years in prison under federal sentencing guidelines. He will be sentenced at a later date.
