Trump slams local fire marshal for blocking access to rally

Donald Trump on Friday criticized local fire marshal for refusing to let more people into his rally in Colorado Friday afternoon.

“This is why our country doesn’t work,” Trump said as he got to the stage about an hour after he was scheduled to start.

“We have thousands of people in a room next door, we have plenty of space here, we have thousands of people outside trying to get in, and we have a fire marshal that said, ‘no, we can’t allow more people,'” Trump said.

“It really is unfair to the people, I’m so sorry and I have to apologize,” he said. “But it’s not my fault. I just came here.”

“And the reason they won’t let them in, is because they don’t know what the hell they’re doing, that’s why,” Trump said to cheers. “Too bad.”

“Maybe they’re a Hillary person, could that be possible? I don’t think there are too many of them,” he added.
